Basilian Schlick founded the Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary, dedicated to work and pray for the spiritual enrichment for all who hear their message. This devotional contains short daily readings through which she points us to God.

"God only seeks to strike the impurities in our life, so that He can build up in a much more wonderful way . . . ."

" . . . our unbelief hinders Him from displaying His miraculous power. "

"Accept yourself as you are and God will turn you into what you are not yet."

"Whoever can trust the Father like a child will receive help in all his difficulties. The gift of trust is the most precious gift. And the Father will give it to those who ask for it."

" . . . Say: 'My Father, what You deny me I do not want to have. I only want to have what You have assigned me.' For a heart that rests in the will of God is filled with peace and comfort."

"God . . . leads His child into a school of waiting."

"Believe in the love of God! Then you will discover precious treasures in every cross."
