A good retold book. A lot of events and main details of the story by Charles Dickens. I feel that the murderer and the robbers are more impressed than Oliver himself. But after all, the good will earn what it deserves, and crimes must pay. The story is told from the past of Charles Dickens himself, and I found that life at that time was really hard for the poor.

I had to read it for school and I was pretty excited but the book didn’t turn out as well as I thought it would be. Maybe it’s because it’s a short version of(under 100 pages) and the original is around 400 pages long but I didn’t like it very much. I think I’ll have to read the long original too.

Well, I read the abridged version because I am trying to cheat my reading challenge. I totally forgot about how much death was in this book. Yhoo.
