Gideon's Trumpet

Rate this book
GIDEON’S TRUMPET IS THE STORY OF EACH OF US, AND WHAT CAN HAPPEN WHEN THE RULES OF THE CIVILIZED WORLD VANISH....China and Cuba allied for nuclear terrorist strikes on large American cities? Would they risk a nuclear war? General Chi Hoatian, Chinese Defense Minister in 1999 said “ War with the United States is inevitable...the Chinese armed forces must control the initiative...” The U.S. could take more casualties in ONE HOUR of nuclear 9/11 type attacks than in all our wars since 1860 COMBINED! Only retired Admiral Jensen Grey and his wife Helen hold the keys to prevent America’s wholesale destruction. From Tennessee and Delaware to Washington to Bermuda to Paris and Havana they match wits with the deadliest attacks ever carried out by civilized countries. The chaos and death occurring in the aftermath will touch our recent memory and remind us once again our planet is still the most dangerous place in the universe.

Fascinating story of the right to counsel in America. As an Attorney, I was fascinated in the later chapters about the inner workings of the Supreme Court.
