About the author

Greg Olsen was raised in a farming community in rural Idaho. His paintings are deeply influenced by his life experiences and spiritual journeys and strive to convey stories that speak to the soul.

Olsen’s art has found a place in notable institutions, including the Pentagon, the NCAA Hall of Fame, the US Forest service, and numerous religious and educational settings.

In 1988, a transformative visit to Jerusalem deeply enriched his spiritual and artistic perspectives. This journey would lay the groundwork for his future works, especially in the realm of Christian art. In 1993, he signed a deal with Mill Pond Press, propelling his Christian-themed works into the national spotlight.

olsen is a really good artest and his paintings of the savior are amazing! it really is like a picture book but it is a good book to read when you are feeling alone. it always makes me feel loved and that the savior really does care about me. =)

While the text of this book is nice, I wouldn't even care if it were there. My children and I both loved looking at Olsen's timelessly beautiful illustrations. I love the relationship he conveys between Jesus and children - so touching!

This is a beautiful picture book. Greg Olsen is a wonderfully talented artist. The book also has a very nice message. This is a really good book to read to young children.
