This is a story of a dog that is adopted by a couple of dog sled racers in search of a good breed of racing dog. Toby eventually loses track of his owners one night when they left him off his leash. He adapts to the wild and has many close encounters with death. He is eventually dubded the king of the snow and earns much respect from everyone else.
This is a good book and I do recommend it to others because it's very entertaining and suspensful. The characters very well suited the story, although the scene was not hard to describe the author did do a good job, and the plot was very unusual. The only weakness was the dialouge becuase there was a lot of it and it didn't make a whole lot of sence unfortunately. The author's style of writing was very different, but I still enjoyed it. I would probably change some of the dialogue to make more sence. I would recommend this to virtually any audiance in search of a good, suspensful book.
