This book is an excellent example of "don't judge a book by its cover".
Although uninspiring, and manual-like to the eyes, this book is filled with simple, easy to follow, and rich information. This is the first book I've read on the topic, and I think it should be the first book anyone reads.

Melissa Tiers is a skilled teacher, but at times I feel she makes hypnosis sound too banal. Perhaps I expected more hearty showmanship, but there's none in this book. It's pretty straight forward.

All in all, give it a read! Worth buying definitely!

The best book I've read in the field of integrative therapies...so good in fact, that now I've finished it, I want to pick it up again right at the beginning and do it all again! I've learnt more than I ever imagined I would, and literally can't wait to start putting that learning into practice!

This book has helped me so much in my practice. It’s easy to understand and I could visualize Melissa as she teaches the class about hypnosis. The meta pattern is fascinating to understand and realize that is what is behind every therapy. Identifying the problem state pinning it then neutralizing then getting into a state in which you are resourceful and then simply pasting the resources on the problem.
