What this lacked in story it made up for in creative smut!
It’s V day but it was called something else, something with an L that I would never remember. Anywho, Noelle is under pressure because what will she get her newish boyfriend Krampus? He’s an eons old monster who has everything or can get it.
Yeah, the best part is what she gets him and how much he enjoyed it. Omg yum!

Krampus and Noelle are back to celebrate Lupercalia/Valentine’s Day and this short little number made me realize why I originally fell in love with these two back in Grave Tidings book one of the Monsters of Grimlake series.
While this entire book was mostly smut, I didn't mind it because it was revisiting Krampus and Noelle and seeing where they are now after their relationship had really gotten started.
Nod to Salem Sinclair for the use of they/them pronouns. You don't really see that often and if you do it is very centralized in one specific chapter.
While I've only read the two books in this series, I know I will be continuing on because my monster lovin' heart is in heaven when Salem writes words.
While this entire book was mostly smut, I didn't mind it because it was revisiting Krampus and Noelle and seeing where they are now after their relationship had really gotten started.

The answer is experiences, of course, and in this case she purchases the “experience” in a cute little store, strap it on the bathroom and put it in his 🍑. 🫠
I love them even more this time around! Noelle is adorable and is collecting her own experiences. Krampus is so delicious and hot and gentle and cruel at the same time. I love this man’s mouth.
I hope I get to see more from this couple, but Grimlake has others interesting characters I wanna meet as well!

I got an ARC of this book the other day and I want to thank Salem for it because dude… this was so much fun.
I’ve been so blessed recently to be reading so many genuinely FUN books. This kinda stuff is why I love reading so much. I love the characters, the chemistry, the funniness, and all the sexy moments. Without getting too graphic or spoiler-y this was so a good time and I don’t think I’ve ever read a book with a certain topic like this book had. But oh was it such a good time 😈 also I love seeing the characters from Salem’s past books brought up AND the delightful creature at the end.

Cute Monter Romance
Holy wow! Chapter 1 jumps right I'm with a delicious explicit scene. 😍 The author does not skimp on the details, and the opening scene/chapter was well-built. I also have no complaints in the way of character building. This short, quick read is packed with fantastic monster smut. The ritual celebration of Lupercalia was hot. I especially loved the representing of a person's chosen pronouns. This character has they/them pronouns, and I haven't seen much presentation of this in books. This was a cute, smutty read, but of course, always check the trigger warnings.

So I loved this couple and adored their first novella. It was one of my favourites and I was left wanting more so this coming was sooo exciting for me.
Having read it, I was a bit underwhelmed if I’m entirely honest. The smut was perfection of course.. but I felt like I wanted more.. but the more I got was details like Noelle pulling off a puss filled pimple sticker. I know that stuff might happen, but I don’t feel like those are the details I want to be reading about in books tbh.
We had her go shopping for spicy toys, but we walk into the shop and all we then have is a chunk with the shop owner talking and not much else. We don’t see any of her thought process, what she does or anything. I know it’s so we get the final scene in more surprise, but to me that felt rushed and a bit pointless. She could have gone ahead and just ordered it online instead because we didn’t gain anything other then a random intro to this character who then makes a reappearance at the end.
I’d have liked to have seen more of the day to day of how Krampus and her are living, and getting on. It implies they’ve been practically living together since they met but we don’t see any of that. Even a paragraph more would have done. It felt like we spent more of the novella seeing every step of her getting dressed, hanging with her friends and going to that shop rather then seeing any development between Krampus and herself.
Like I say, I know it’s a smutty novella and there is only so much you can write in a short space - but the details we got just felt unnecessary and unsatisfactory to the story where my preference is to actually see more about what the couple themselves are doing and how their living alongside the smut angles. The three is there for the smut, which I did love… but maybe I had my expectations set too high with this, but awaiting a bit more from my favourite Christmas monster novella I was left disappointed.

Love this continuation of Noelle's and Krampus's story. I loved all the smut and sexy scenes, but also all the sweet moment.

I love that there is more about Noelle's, Yule and Lumi's friendship. I loved their friendship and how all three are supportive of each other.

Love this continuation of Noelle's and Krampus's story. I loved all the smut and sexy scenes, but also all the sweet moment.

I love that there is more about Noelle's, Yule and Lumi's friendship. I loved their friendship and how all three are supportive of each other.

I really enjoyed this book. It was great to revisit with my favorite couple Krampus and Noelle. They have grown closer with one another. Their bedroom life is even hotter! It was great to see Noelle becoming bolder with Krampus. Which speaking of Krampus, I was a fan of his before but after reading both Grave Tidings and this book, I am even more of a fan.
Readers looking for their next monster romance or even trying monster romances for the first time, need to check out the books in this series. I guarantee that you will be screaming for more. I know I am. I devoured this book so quickly.

Another great instalment to the amazing town of Grimlake
This starts off dirty and just gets better and better as it goes along, and can I just say for a short (40 page) novella, Salem does an amazing job at dropping in little nuggets of world building that just makes me love and want to live in Grimlake so much. Grimlake definitely has to be one of my favourite monster filled cozy towns. I loved this and I loved being back with Noelle and Krampus again, and I LOVED Noelle’s gift for Krampus.
Annnnd we got to see Etheridge again.. I loved him in BTTB and I hope he gets a book of his own one day.

Stupid Cupid, keep picking on me
Is it just me or are these books getting better and better? I’m loving the world building bits that are sprinkled in and getting to see more about Grimlake and it’s inhabitants. And obviously, the monster smut is fantastic, but that’s no surprise. Salem Sinclair continues to spice things up with each installment and I’m always so excited to see what’s next!

A spicy short story involving Krampus and Noelle. If you read the first book of this series, here we’re back to the old characters and more kinks and discovery by them. Even in a short story, Salem manages to develop the characters… finding a new chapter of their lives, Noelle and Krampus build a relationship based in, not only sex and passion, but in trust in each other- and you could see this between the pages. I liked revisiting these characters and I’m excited to see more in Grimlake.

I enjoyed reading about Noelle and Krampus in Grave Tidings, and I liked seeing how their relationship had developed a few months after that book. I've also read the other Grimlake books and anthology stories, so I liked that characters from those stories made cameos in this book.

A nice lil continuation on the story of Krampus and Noelle! Not my favourite in the series. It was quite short, as were the smut scenes.. There were also a few crossovers in this novella, which was a nice surprise!
But I want more of Santa Claus and Cupid's relationship right now!!!

I've listen to some people complementing this novella but nah... this novella wasn't for me. The writing is too mediocre it didn't even turned me on, even when Krampus being submissive (I really LOVE submissive men) it didn't give me a thing.
