JUMAI: A story of hurt, healing, forgiveness and purpose

Rate this book
Jumai is a story of hurt, healing, forgiveness and purpose!

Jumai's life was the perfect one as she grew up in a loving home in the city of Minna. Then, tragedy struck and Jumai was scarred for life by an incident that not only weighed her down but cast a shadow over the entire Luka family.

Hallucinations, nightmares, bitterness, exclusion, and many more are the battles Jumai fought as she tried to rise above her pains, trauma, and fears. These problems faced by Jumai led to a relocation from the city of Minna to Jos as the family sought peace and healing.

Will Jumai be able to put her pain behind her and embrace the ever-available love of God? Will she be able to recover her sonorous voice and live the purposeful life God has purposed for her?

Well done for writing on such a delicate subject to deal with especially in our clime. It was a moving story and I could relate with the different characters. I enjoyed reading the book.
