In a very bad wood, There was a very bad house. And in that very bad house, There was a very bad room. And in that very bad room, There was a very bad cupboard. And in that very bad cupboard, There was a very bad shelf. And on that very bad shelf, There was a very bad box. And in that very bad box, There was a VERY BAD BOOK... AND THIS IS IT!!!

The very bad book is a great way to put laughter into your day it's crazy, fun and easy to read (I read it in a day) . I just loved this book because it was so so so so funny, unlike other books. If you want to read a book but can't find one then find this gust lying on your book shelf and can't remember what it's about well you don't need to remember, because it's such a quick read and you can just start from the start. So go get it know and read it (-:
This book was very funny. I got this book out of the school library. I think mum thought it made her sick. I love the book and it entertained me and Matilda (my sister.)

1 i chose this book because my Aunty go it for me for Christmas and it looked like a cool book
2 i didn't have a favourite character in this book because through out this book there are lots of little stories the start and end
3 my first quotation 'Mary had a very bad lamb its fleas as black as tar it smoked and drank and stayed up late at its favourite all night baaaa'. My second quotation 'vegetables are bad for you'
4 i would ask the author what he was thinking when he wrote the book
5 I wouldn't because the book is already good as it is
I liked this one more than Just Disusting, which I had just read. This one is a lot funnier, and I tabbed a lot of jokes to tell my family (they laughed too).
May I say that this book is the 'bad' version of Tim Burton's Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy. The format is similar except this book is like bad-melancholy-jokes type. Nonetheless, it's a pretty enjoyable book for a light reading.
I thought this book was ok compared to my other books I have read. Just based on bad riddles and short stories which made me kind of laugh at times. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone, its not really interesting.
This book of poetry is from a child's point of view and is filled with all the misconceptions he has. It can be used as a discussion point in class to get students to explain how the author is seeing the world and how some of the things he writes about are wrong.
