An amazing story. It's important to read these so that we remember the horrors and learn how to stop them in the future.

Reading "Escape From The Killing Fields" was definitley an emotional rollercoaster of a book. The story follows a girl and her family's journey from escaping the Khmer Rouge, a communist empire the took control over Cambodia, and their escape to America and freedom. If you like inspirational stories, I would highly recommend this book.

Fabulous narrative on this horrific time. I read this for a freshman English class, and I had no idea of the suffering that took place. I had never even heard of these things in any history class, and it opened my eyes to what can happen when no one intervenes.
