Ehhhh. It's basically a collection of ghost stories. Which is fine, but they weren't particularly compelling. And ALL of the photos just look like development issues or dust "orbs". Sometimes mist is really just mist, you guys. :(

From the area and looked forward to reading about the local hauntings….was disappointed. A collection of short ghost stories. Some interesting, some made me think there might be something and others made me roll my eyes.

..some of the writing or grammar was a bit..high school.

I am from Randolph, NY…it is in Cattaraugus County, not Allegheny. There are some typos…no big deal. The story telling is good. Would have enjoyed more detail. The Gurnsey Hollow story is not complete

Some interesting stories, but the editing is appalling. Several sites are listed as being in Allegany County when they're actually in Cattaraugus County. One site is described as having built by World War II prisoners... In 1933. Try the Civilian Conservation Corp instead, which was NOT a concentration camp. If not for the interesting stories - some of which I've heard from other sources - I'd quit reading. The author is apparently from western New York, but you wouldn't know it from these crazy inaccuracies.

Two stars for the stories. Zero stars for the editing. Frankly, it's sad that any publisher would put out something this badly put together.
