亜樹 直 Agi Tadashi is a Japanese manga storywriter, novelist and screenwriter. His original name is Shin Kibayashi (樹林 伸 Kibayashi Shin). He was born in 1962 in Tokyo, and graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Musashi Senior High School and Waseda University School of Economics & Political Science. The penname "Tadashi Agi" is shared with his sister. Under the name Yuma Ando, he received the 2003 Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen for writing Kunimitsu no Matsuri.

Marine Red is a short and to the point arc. Mainly set up for the next arc but overall average

When this plot first started in volume 18 I felt like it was going to be a weak story. It seemed very uninteresting. However when I got to volume 19 I discovered that this was actually a pretty good vampire plot. Had lots of good battles and a storyline and some very interesting new character arrivals.

Ban and Ginji are idiots for breaking all the dangerous wine bottles. I like the vampire dude, but hate Dokubachi. It shows what's to come with the stupid Kiriudo. Nadia is a good person, though. Shido is doing the right thing by ensuring Madoka's safety.

The conclusion to the Marine Red storyline. Ban and Ginji face down a man made of bees, and a vampire from WWII.
