Geronimo Stilton #45

Save the White Whale!

Rate this book
In each Geronimo Stilton book, another funny, cheesy adventure is always right around the corner! Each book is fast paced, with lively full-color art and a unique format kids 7-10 will love. Holey cheese, did I need a vacation! I had been working my tail off at The Rodent's Gazette, so when Petunia Pretty Paws invited me to visit Whale Bay with her, of course I said yes. But our trip got off on the wrong paw, and my relaxing vacation turned into a real nightmare. That is, until Petunia and I came across a great white whale that needed our help. This would be one adventure I'd never forget!

It was a really nice short story as usual but the introductory level knowledge of whales was really nice! It has also sparked my interested in reading Moby Dick in the future hehe

I thought it was a pretty fun book to read because the main character has some funny things in his head, and he's really scared of most stuff. So I always wonder what will happen next!

I think that most of my classmates would read this book if they are a fan or love the Geronimo Stiltons books. Mostly I recomend this book to someone who really loves funny stories and loves to know what will happen next just like me! Also if you loved this book that I recomended I think that you would also love all the other books that have Geronimo Stilton characters. Then if you love reading adventures or poems you should read this book.

But if you are a girl or boy who mostly likes Thea, Geronimo Stilton's sister, you should try reading the Thea Stilton's books too. That's because I really loved those books which made me sometimes worry a lot about the scary parts. For example when Thea Stilton's group was trying to catch a thief the group was tricked into a room where the lock was outside. These books will be just as funny and adventurous as the book I am recomending now.

But if you don't know which book is greater for you, you should chose this book. That's because this book talks a lot about whales and tells us interesting facts that we don't know about the whales.

A quick read and I would say kids from 7-12 should be reading it. This was nice because it showed nature friendly ideas and talked about ways that you could help, blah, blah, blah, all that stuff you see on commercials. I think that if you have some spare time, pick up one of these books because they are good and they are a nice quick read.

I found a new migraine trigger! I know these books are super popular, but reading it was an absolute nightmare. Like a lot of kid series books, the plot was incredibly thin; and in these books a lot of the work is being done by wacky (gross) fonts. There is some good whale stuff in there, but not until basically the end of the book.

This vacation is very similar to Geronimo's previous vacations - not as restful as he was hoping and much more expensive. While I found it a little tedious it should be an interesting story that will hold children's attention while giving some interesting facts about whales.

So, I have been in a reading slump for about a month an half and it's been driving me crazy. I decided to have my niece start reading me this book and after a while, she had me read the rest. And that helped me get out of my reading slump, I think.

I use to read Geronimo Stilton books when I was younger and I fully in enjoyed them. And I knew that my niece would too. So, our new thing is that she's read a few pages of the Geronimo Stilton books and I'll read the rest.

This book is a great book to teach young kids about whales, and the environment. Through out the book, it explains the difference between a few whales. At the end of the book, it gives you so interesting facts about whales, and it had a fun little quiz about the best way to act to help the environment.

I have rated this book four stars because it was adventurous and interesting. The series of 'Geronimo Stilton' is okay but they are not as good as others.
This book is fiction and non-fiction, fiction is the story, and non-fiction is the information they give you about whales. So actually, the story is that they went to a beach, and then they found a whale, and then the next page they give you real information about the whale like which whale is it and what to do if you also found a whale. And then Geronimo saves the whale.
I have learnt a little bit about whales after reading this book.
I recommend this book to people aged 5-13. Adults might find it not interesting.

Now, all the Geronimo books have a special place in my heart🫀. These were the books which really got me into reading, so I’m a little biased towards these, but this one, rocked it! If looking from the perspective of a nine-year-old (the age for which the book is actually written), it gives a lot of awareness and knowledge about whales, which, in my opinion, is very good. Children should be aware of the aquatic life and this book does it well for them. Maybe, no adult is gonna like it but a child will definitely love it!

Whales are some of the most majestic creatures on the earth, and this Geronimo adventure is dedicated to their protection and the preservation of their natural habitats. Definitely a good lesson for everyone to learn!

This book was great

I liked this book, because Geronimo, Petunia, Benjamin and Bugsy saved a whale! And it was funny when Geronimo thought he was excited but he was actually seasick. Please make more Geronimo books.

Read another one from the stack out of curiosity. This one includes a few pages with whale facts, which is a nice touch. I appreciate that. I can see them trying to diversify the cast a bit, even if they're a bit trope-ish. That's alright.
