The tormented, romantic and melancholic stories of Teremih, Cibella, Ophelia, Shye and the other characters from the personal and fantastic world of Mélanie Delon return in her second collection of digital paintings.
Another mistake buy because it's basically an art book with descriptions in my least favorite medium- computers!
She underscores her obviously digitized stills with a dated description of each character(s)- none of which tie together and most of which are thinly-veiled mythievery.
She apparently teaches an oxymoronic course called "digital painting".
It's a magical portfolio. Each illustration has a (very) short paragraph or sentence about the story they tell.
I give it 3.5-4 Stars just because I was expecting a little more in they way of stories, and some illustrations don't dazzle me as I've seen some of her other illustrations that are just exquisite. That said, this is one book I'll always keep. It is very inspirational.
