Three Screenplays: & A One Act

Rate this book
Three Screenplays & A One Act. Killing Romance is an anti-romantic comedy about a divorced couple who reluctantly join forces and conspire to get rid of their son’s destructive girlfriend. They try everything they can think of to force the teen lovers apart, but finally, in the tradition of Throw Mama From the Train, they decide their only option is to eliminate her—permanently. Eleftheria tells the story of a survivor of Turkey’s brutal 1974 invasion of Cyprus who searches for three decades to find her son, Spyros, missing since the first days of the attack. After 30 years of fruitless search, Eleftheria finally embarks on a traumatic journey into the occupied zone where she finds an unexpected sense of closure. Tell It Like It Is is a largely autobiographical story of growing up in the 1950s and 60s in America and the author’s involvement in civil rights activities, the Vietnam anti-war movement and cyber actions against corporate America. Bride of Christ, Bride of ISIS is a one-act play that places a disgraced Catholic priest at the center of child-bride trafficking for ISIS.
