I tend to not like people who don't like Victoria Wood. These two clearly didn't. Though the way they speak about women in general is 'off'.

Julie Walters is great - I'm so glad I now know more about her, and want to see more of her work. But this biography was so disappointing. "Julie did this... Them she did that". All biographies need to be entertaining as well as informative, especially one about such a lively person and such a great comedian. What a shame!

Quite an interesting read. You feel you know Julie a bit better afterwards -poor background; great friendship with Victoria Wood. Her daughter's fight with leukemia very humbling.
