The combined answers to these puzzle pairs lead to a message containing a set of instructions. Unravel the instructions, and at last the solution appears. In the first printing of the book there is an error on page 54. The puzzle itself is correct, but the letters under the grid are incorrect. They should read "W H A T V I D E O" instead of "W H I T E D O V E."

This book was so much fun! On each pair of pages there is one numerical puzzle and one connected letter puzzle. Use the circled square in the numberical puzzle to find the next part of the secret message in the lettered puzzle! Once all the puzzles in the book are solved, you'll have "decoded" a secret message that tells you how to find the secret riddle. Answer the riddle, and receive a special collectors button. =)
