Alexandre. Sami.
It's a kids book, and it's in French. It's not an amazing books for tenth grade French class and I found the book incredibly boring, confusing and slow, but it's for kids, if I kid likes it, sure. (Can French dialogue stop not telling you when the dialogue stops and actions start, it drives me mad)
I had to read this in french class, I normally make a rule to not rate books i read in class, beacause it can create bias. The writing is simple, easy to understand and easy to be tested on. It wasn't great but it wasn't awful either.
This being a grade 10 french class required reading is mind-boggling. 🏜️
The way this book was written is very childish and I’d say this is for younger readers. Most of the chapters were just a bunch of blah blah with no new information revealed which made me really mad. 😭
The setting was the only interesting thing about this book. The ending? Felt very rushed.
