This book is well organized in the 7 steps that it takes you through. It really is about knowing yourself/your values and beliefs so as to rid yourself of negativity and creating the mindstate/focus that will give you whatever you truly desire. If you truly know yourself then you also know what you want to achieve. If you truly do what you love then motivation will take care of itself. The book refers to this as a feeling a sense of purpose.
Also the book goes into detail of how to structure your goals and how to create a plan/strategy of actions to achieve the goals.
The book also talks about self-talk, visualization and positive affirmations as ways to focus and motivate you on your path to success/happiness.
The message of living your life for you and no one else is so very important and needs to be said over and over again. The path to happiness lies in my opinion here. This book does a good job of tying together a lot of thoughts of success and happiness and explains them well. I would recommend this book as a good place to start becoming involved in your life and happiness.

He helps you in every possible way, giving you every tool you need to be the person you have always wanted to be. YOU still need to do the inner work, though, as only you can create change in yourself. Be prepared to go deep! It is well worth it for the happiness and connection you will find with your family, friends, and even co-workers that you will find on the other side. I highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to create more joy and connection with themselves and others and live a happier life!
Change your life in seven steps. This book teaches you how to identify and change negative behaviours and thought patterns. It is very well written and easy to follow and helps you identify old beliefs that no longer serve you. You also learn about goal setting, controlling moods, inner self talk and more. Meditation is another thing that is talked about in this book and for those who find meditation a struggle or aren’t sure if it’s for them you will find the easy way in which the author explains it very valuable. This really is a great self help book that explains in a language that is easy to understand, how we all have within ourselves the solutions that we seek. Another great addition to my self help collection.
This book is a really powerful and motivational read. There are step by step plans to change your life and the writer is so in depth with his writings, he doesn’t leave any stone unturned.
He gives excellent advice to help you utilise your ideas or even create ideas from nothing and then gets to the nitty gritty of what you want to do and how to do it.
I am a positive and motivated person myself after overcoming years of illness and having to be creative about what work I do, friends that I have and co-ordinating family issues, but, I must admit, this book had me wanting to jump up and get going even though I was in my ‘relaxing time’!
A really good read, very motivational, and explained in such an easy way that the words just flow and make sense to you.
This is my bestselling self-help book. It opened doors for me: to the Summer School of the University of Western Australia, the Department of Premier and Cabinet in WA, to private industry … And it made a huge change in my own life.
