When old Mrs. Miller dies from a diabetic coma and her son Bob is killed in an auto accident, carpenter and amateur sleuth Dave Barrio becomes suspicious and begins to explore motives for murder
I thought the story was interesting. I was baffled as to why this book was located in the adult section when the content is not adult in the rated R sense, but it wouldn't fit within the parameters of young adult. The author gave away too much information too early on so that by page 48 I knew who had committed the murder. I don't like to note the copy editing was poor. For example when our main character goes to visit Sheila in the hospital the author says that she would like to visit Sheila and talk alone she hoped that another character and Sheila weren't there. This mistake was made not once but twice in one paragraph.
