The first in the series tells a tale of a 15th century Jiggy who meets a scheming lawyer named Merlin, and a pickpocket named Arthur
It's not easy being a peasant. Jiggy's medieval life is one dirty dung heap of trouble after another. Worse, he has to work for the dumbest knight in the land, Sir Bozo de Beurk. But when Jiggy discovers a pair of magic balls, his fortunes might be about to change.
This is one of those books I got out of the library for no reason other than the title caught my eye.
I don't know if it's just because it was a children's book - but then I don't normally have issues with them - but I found this pretty awful in all honesty. It should have been fantastic - I mean we're talking knights and jousting and Arthurian mythology but I just found it fell really flat. Disappointed.
