I'm Not A Whore—I'm A Dancer.

description

This book is so bad, Siri is no longer speaking to me, and my iPad committed the UNIX equivalent of Japanese ritualized suicide with a well-timed kernel panic.

Right now I am typing this review in a NYC public library, where a sixteen-year-old copy of Netscape is frowning at me in disapproval, while on burgeoning shelves all around me the perfectly viable books I scorned for this one judge me in icy, shunning silence.

My IQ dropped so low after chapter two I had to keep up a constant stream of status updates because I found I could no longer sustain the cognitive bandwidth required to count above the number 8.

I'm pretty sure I am now sterile. When I made the disastrous decision to read this book, my genes formed a provisional government and quickly ousted my brain from power, while also sabotaging my genetic markers to ensure I do not accidentally procreate and poison the gene pool any further.

At least, I think that's what happened. They left a note, but I no longer know what the words "amino acids" and "die, bitch" mean.

So.

I no longer possess 20/20 vision, on account of that one passage in chapter seven that prompted my own optic nerves to attempt a desperate, last-ditch incursion on my cerebral cortex.

Just kidding. I really don't know what any of those words mean anymore.

I now also suffer from chronic gout, irritable bowel syndrome, and tinnitus, according to something called "WebMD."

I look like I am eighty years old and I smell of mildewed newspaper and death.

I have an erection.

I can't remember ...anything, really. I have no idea where I was going with this. I don't know what I'm doing here, or why. I think I'm just going to go home.

If I still have one, anyway, after my reading lamp nearly burnt me alive when it set the curtains on fire.

Oh! I remember, now. Ointment. I need antibash—antibionic? Anti... I need ointment.

Also, I think I had a dream where I read a book that was the best worst book I have ever read in my life. At some point.

It was like the Showgirls of MM romance porn satire novels.

Like, hysterically funny-bad?

Wish I could remember what it was called.

What is this glowing box in front of me? Why is everyone staring at me? Is there something on my fa—oh, no. False alarm. I was screaming in Farsi.

Hello. My name is... uh... something. What's your name? Do you know me? I seem to be having a little trouble remem—

Wait, where are you going?

What did I say?

Don't worry! Look, it's just my penis! It does this all the t—oooooooh, hullo. Has that always done that when I do that thing that I just did? To it?

Who am I talking to?

Ehrmhergherd, it feels so much better with my left hand!

Hi! Can you please direct me to the nearest public library? I'm in the mood for a really good book...

What in the actual hell did I read? 😱 This is crazy!!! But I’m crazier because I loved it! 😂 I mean this is one of the most authentic and outrageous storylines I’ve ever read. 😳 I actually wonder how someone is able to come up with this kind of story. 😁 Still, I really liked it. I can’t believe it has been 10 years since this story started. This started as an adult online fiction and now it’s self-published on Amazon. What a journey it has been! 👏 A few of my friends have read this book but they obviously read this back in its FF days so they had a lot of problems with editing and revising. I was able to read the heavily edited and revised version so I’m not sure the storyline is exactly same or not. But at least the skeleton must be same. One thing for sure is that the author changed the names of some MCs. For example, our omega MC was called “Alain” in the original FF but he’s called “Alan” in the Amazon version one. Also, the second eldest brother is called “Condor” in the original FF but later changed to “Connor” in the version I read.

Before you start this book, you need to know a few things. Actually a few very important things. 😁

1. You can’t be going into this series thinking that this is going to be sensible. Because it’s not. 😂👏
2. This is downright porny and raunchy. If you are not into it, don’t read it.
3. This is “INCEST” with capital letters. 4 older brothers dicking the youngest. If you are not ok with it, don’t read it. 😁
4. Don’t try to reason who, why or when. Just go with the flow. 😏
5. There are some very serious abuse, non-con/dub-con, rape and torture scenes. If those are triggers for you, don’t read it.

Ok, I’ve already given you my fair warnings. If you are still interested to read this book, then man, you are in for a treat! 😍

Alan came back home early from college because he had a fall-out with his best friend. He’s been experimenting his feelings and attractions towards men and finally confided that to his best friend. And that bastard tried to take advantage of him sexually thus leading to cause Alan to come back home early suddenly. Oh, and he’s a virgin. 😂 *wink wink* And he discovered a whole lot of dark secrets that his family had been hiding for years. It’s like opening a Pandora box and Alan instead of Alice spiraling down a rabbit hole. 😱 And boy, was that hot! 🔥 Two words, “Fuck Fest!”. 👏👏👏 Yup, two words summarized the whole story. 😁 Talk about building up UST when it comes to reading taboo stories. Haaaaaaaaa! 😏 Less UST, much much more of actual very steamy actions. 🔥 But what took me by surprise is, although this is as crazy as it gets, there actually is an interesting and twisted and very dark story line. And as a *ahem ahem* connoisseur of “dark reads”, it appealed to my soul. 😉 I know there’s going to be at least two more books in the series because there were 3 issues published when it was a FF. And I can’t wait for other books in the series to come out. Right now, Alan and his 3 older brothers are kind of having a HFN. We still don’t know about the oldest brother Quentin’s intentions. Is he a good guy? Or is a he a bad guy? Or is he a terrible guy with good intentions? Who knows? We have to wait book2 to come out. And another winning character from this book for me is Ven, the second youngest brother. I know it’s impossible in RL but I just love how he sacrificed everything for Alan and how he truly loved him. He’s sort of the first and primary husband of Alan? 😁 Since this book is so heavy on incest, you might wanna grab the book from Amazon before it gets pulled off. This is also available on KU which is another plus point. I hope this reviews helps you in deciding whether to read this book or not. For me, it was a pure delight. 😍 I surely got a very addictive sugar rush from this one. 😉 And I’m hoping I’ll get the same elements from book2. 😌

Favorite excerpts from the novel: 💙

“I care about you that much, Alan. Whether you believe me or not, you’re the most important person in my whole fucking world.”

Every part of me was responding to him in a way I’d never felt for anyone else before. He’d woken something inside me that had lain dormant all this time. “Everything in me wants to fuck you right now,” he whispered harshly.

There was no denying it anymore. Everything about this man turned me on. Brother or no.

Listen, there’s nothing wrong with lovin’ whoever makes you feel good. It doesn’t matter if they’re a man or a woman… or in this case, even the same blood. It doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else.”

The fact that I could still get hard was amazing but my brothers were making a legit nympho out of me, and I didn’t like it.

“Alan is the only one I wanna spend the rest of my life with.” The words kept echoing in my ears. And in my heart. I really wanted to believe in them.

“I’ll always come back. I love you, Punk,” he whispered. “That’ll never ever change.” I gave a choked laugh and gently shook my head. “Jeez. You never make it easy for me, but I do love you,” I murmured.

As long as I had all their love… as long as I still had each of them in my life I was willing to do anything to keep them there. Anything.

Brocest x 4. Or is that times 5? Five brothers, all of whom want to fuck the youngest one, Alain. And they all get a piece of him. Maybe he’s in heat and bromones are drawing them all in. Whatever he case, he loves it.

So there’s incest, plenty of it. Rape, vicious. Not just once. There’s some mafia angle in there that didn’t really make sense. Kidnapping. Drugs. Murder. Blood. DP. Some sort of blackmail angle. And apple pie.

There were editing issues. A plenty.

But aside from all the normative “wrongness” of this book, I couldn’t put it down. It was hot and disturbing and confusing. And I couldn’t stop reading it. I didn’t even like the characters that much. OK, I liked Con.

How does this happen? Read it, but beware, you might like it despite yourself, but don’t feel guilty....it’s only fiction.

THE CARNALLI MOTTOS “Bros Before Hoes” and “It’s a Family Affair”...

What in all the Twilight Zone was this...I don’t even have the words for what I just read

: description

The Breakdown: Alan leaves college because his so called bestfriend turns out to be a stalker/molester and he wants to get away. While at home Alan realizes he’d like very much to fuck his brothers and to his shock & awe they want to fuck him too 😲

That’s it, I got nothing else. It’s a fuck fest, a brotherly fuck fest (like a hot brotherly fuck fest but a brotherly Fuck fest nonetheless).

I’m trying to understand their thinking as to why they just accepted their feelings as the norm. It could have been believable if it was a hush hush type thing between two bros, but all fucking 5 of them. Like what in all the cows can fly type of household is this. I demand to speak to their parents!!!

Then in comes the plotty device and I’m all
description

Some crazy things happen, the bros re-establish their bond while being on the run and by then I just couldn’t. Somethings happen that I didn’t like (you would think I’d be all against the brotherly love of the carnal nature) but I got whiplash from the straight out Dr Jekyll, Mr Hyde the book pulled.

It’s a no for me dawg!!

I can honestly say I was entertained., and so I did like it. There’s some grammar and editing issues but it’s not a big deal. This book is so not for everyone, and all the serious shit got handled like a Yaoi manga. Where rape is easily forgiven and being drugged is just meh. So stay clear if that’s your triggers.

The Carnal-li Complex is a big brocest of epic delights. So like ummmmm where is book 2 🙋🏽‍♀️

Im trying to figure out what’s the 411 on Alan. Its like his ass is the most tightest and luxurious piece of ass out there, everyone wants a piece!!!

Think I may need to create a 'disturbed me that I liked it' shelf, just for this book. I could have sworn I already had one. Really don't know what to feel here. Apart from the main bro-cest storyline which will already disturb many readers, there is a darkness within each of the brothers, almost a Carnalli curse, especially the eldest (Quentin) and youngest (Alain). There is also a very predatory feel to the brothers that disturbed me at times, and it almost disgusts you the situations they put Alain in to take advantage of him. Believe me when I tell you, there are many situations that are very, very wrong. Still, the writing is stellar, the twists and turns are amazing and sex scenes are HAWT!! I mean, really, really HOT. I just couldn't put the book down.

As an aside, Quentin is one of the most deliciously disturbing and viciously amoral characters I've read in a while. He scared the beegeezus out of me.

Off to read the sequel.

5 stars, just because I loved it. I would think brotherly love would be hard to make hot, but this book delivered.
I still don't see why everyone lusts after Alain, but they do. He knows it too.

I think I've read all the incestuous relationship I can handle for a little wile. But I'll eventually be back to read the next one. Gotta know what is going on with Quentin.

The five Carnalli brothers make every self-respecting porn star turn tail and run...

Wonderfully depraved, 100% unbelievable, e-reader melting nonsense. *fans self*

The rating is for "I liked it" (a lot) not for "this is a good book", mind you...

Not for the faint of heart!

CARNAL.

ONE OF THE HOTTEST BOOKS I'VE READ SO FAR!
This read wrung me out. It's intense!!! Since it's taboo, all the sex scenes are 10 times hotter. So my energy is gone when I finished it.

So what is the CARNALLI COMPLEX? The Carnalli brothers are made of 5 siblings: Quentin, Condor, Cobryn, Ven, and Alain. (This was told in Alain's POV and it started when he turned 21.) The brothers have this strong and irresistible sexual appeal in them. The brothers call it the Carnalli Complex. They are hot men, and they attract women and even men all the time. But for Alain, it seems to be that he only attracts men. It was hard for him because he considers himself straight. And his appeal is so strong that most of his straight male friends turn gay for him. And even his brothers are not immune to his sexy charms...

I loved this one so much. It was one of those who stayed with me after finishing it.
The Carnalli brothers were hot! Alain is a sexy twink student, Ven is a gorgeous model, Cobryn is a hot-tempered EMT, Condor is a cop by day/drummer by night, and Quentin is the quiet bookie type. Although their characterizations was somewhat inconsistent throughout the book, I still loved them. Their smexy times with each other are so damn hot for me. Their brother factor makes everything HOTTER. Another thing I loved about them is how they protect each other. There's this one scene with Cobryn that touched me. (even though his ways were a little twisted) And by the way, the author's writing of his/her sex scenes was intense! You'll thought that the deed was finished and then something more happens! It drove me crazy!!!

BUT, this is far from a perfect book. There were a lot of typos. There was even a missing chapter! (It was placed at the end of the book.) The brothers' relationship for me seems more like of a lovers' than a siblings'. I wished there was more building of their brotherhood.
And you guys might not feel the plot jumps and a lot of other things that might offend you. Like cheating, use of date rape drugs, and some others that I'm not gonna spoil. You guys might also find this a little pornish and non-sense.

Why did I gave this 5 stars? There was this one scene, that made me CRINGED. I really cringed. I shook. I can't remember any other book that made me feel and affect me that way. Hence I award this my 5 star rating. I know I might overrate this and I will leave to you guys if the rating I gave was justifiable.

I WON'T FORGET THIS FOR LOOONG TIME.
And I honestly can't recommend this to everyone. THIS IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. Try this for those who wanna try incest and those who are prepared for something sexy & dark.

WOW just WOW, no other words for me especially with the messed up ending. If you aren't too easily offended and don't mind incest then this is quite the different/interesting read!! 🤗😉😃 The shock factor is to die for!!! Some crazy shit but I enjoyed it so I guess that makes me crazy too....

This is like Shades of Gray the incest version.

See when you hear so much hype about a book you kind of expect a few things. Personally, I didn't get what the hype is all about. I think people like the idea of this book more than the book itself. My problem is I cannot deal with those warm fuzzy incestuous characters at all. I just expect that when incest happens, I get to see some darkness, I want it to be a little gritty and honest and RUDE. But calling someone stinkpits isn't the kind of rude I'm talking about. Furthermore, a guy says his brother gives him a hickey and he doesn't think that was a little odd? And then Ven practically kisses him and Alain is still going "Nah, it was just chaste...right?" The blatant and completely annoying use of brand names, the frustrating soap names, bad dialogue, everything comes together to become what happens to be nothing more than an incredibly childish endeavor at writing incest. The characters are very flat and just plain out of a typical romance novel and so are their feelings and behaviors. So yeah not as bad as some of the other books I've read but nothing special either.

It's not often I am torn between giving a book a one star and a five star review. This book has been making me think a lot, and that's a good thing, but the things it made me think about? Good God.

Alain Carnalli is the youngest of five brothers, each one so very different but they all share some twisted, dark part of their soul that is part of their birthright, it seems.

Val is the handsome brother who disappeared to live with their mother years before. Con is the black sheep, now a cop and a drummer in a band. Quinten is the oldest, the responsible one. And Cor is the hot tempered, possessive EMT brother.

Alain comes home after an encounter with his roommate leaves him feeling unsafe. He's 21, in college, and trying to decide what to do next, so he comes home, where he feels safe.

And this is where the book takes a left turn into total What. The. Fuck? land. I'm still shaking my head over some of this. Be warned...there is incest galore here. The blurb discloses this, so I'm not giving anything away.

Now here's where I have issues, and they are spoilers so forgive me...

So, parts are hot, the writing crisp and clear (although the version I have is basically unedited), and I like the style. It could be a great read with some work and a couple of betas and a really good editor who could guide the author and tighten up some of the more outrageous plot elements.

I finally decided to land in the middle, and still am not sure how I feel about it. But it made me stop, it made me react and think, and it is still with me a couple of days later, and isn't that what good writing does?

Damn!

This...this was one rabbit hole of twisted shit.
And, god help me, I enjoyed every slimy minute of it.
:-)

(Except the very end...jeez Alain, learnt nothing at all?)

I can't believe I'm giving five stars to something that badly needs copy editing...but the story, ugh, this story wouldn't let me go until the very last word.

I was all set to love this story... My friends at the DMC group couldn't recommend it enough, it had all the spicy, naughty ingredients to make it a hot, taboo read. And it was free! There was a high probability this was going to be a success. I started it and read through the first dream sequence... Ugh! Can I say I hate dream sequences?

Then I figured out Alain is Alana, with a name and genital change. And, just like M/F romance, he ended up being dangerously attractive to all and sundry. Can't even hold a normal job because he keeps getting stalked. Really? Seriously? That's one of the reasons why I stopped reading M/F Romance, people!

Then there was another dream sequence, and another...!!! Then the WTF moments started succeeding one another too fast to keep track of. I will not spoil it for those who may still want to read this but, trust me, suspension of disbelief is not enough. For the plot (what plot?) to make sense you will have to disregard everything you know and accept about human nature and the society we live in.

In the beginning the sex scenes were hot. But they contributed nothing to the story or character development. Eventually they became repetitive, boring, and I found myself falling asleep in the middle of them. That had never happened to me before. Believe me, I'm a "there's never too much m/m sex in a story" kind of gal, but this one cured me of that idea.

So, for me, the problem is not the brocest. It's everything else. Sorry, could not get into it.

A big fat LOL to this fine specimen of a book. Morbid curiosity definitely got the better of me and actually managed to convince me that giving this little piece of literary uniqueness a try would be an awesome thing to do... Looky how that turned out? - Yay.

And yeah, this clearly is meant to be humorous, to be a joke, to kid us all, it has to be, because no way in hell can one take this seriously.
There was a moment when I thought it couldn't actually get any worse, any more ridiculous, but boy, was I wrong - no this clearly requires italics: wrong. I'm gonna restrain myself from spoiling this fun read for you and instead will only say this much: Quentin. And: Rape incl. a forcefully pierced Prince Albert. (Again with the italics, see? I'm on a roll. And, btw, wth?!)

So, my fella sufferers, enjoy!

Deliciously wicked erotica involving five incestuous brothers:
Quentin, the eldest, brown hair, dark blue eyes - Architect,
Condor, 28, tall, shaven headed, scarred, tattooed, dark blue eyes - Biker, Policeman, Drummer
Cobryn, sandy haired, pierced eyebrow & tongue - Paramedic, Volunteer Fireman
Ven, 25, tall, long blond hair, goatee, blue eyed - Supermodel
Alain, 21, 5'6", dark blond, slim - College Student

Written from Alain's POV throughout. Alain, the youngest brother, is universally lusted after by his elder siblings.
Damn, I'm becoming an incubus! Just the thought of anything sexual was enough to shake the sleepy sluggishness from my body. What were my brothers doing to me?'

I think that this might be the most fucked up thing I have ever said, and that's really saying something. I'm(really not) ashamed to admit it, but I loved loved loved all the brocest going on in here, but I could have completely done without the mafia/kidnapping/rape subplot. Maybe it'll make sense once I read the rest of the series.

Alain must exude Spanish Fly from his pores, cause EVERYONE wanted a piece of his ass, and one little taste of sex turned Alain into a sex addict. The main(non-rapey) sex parts of this were some of the hottest I've ever read, especially once they were all together.
March 25, 2020
This is a WTF did I just read!? It was ridiculous and disturbing and OTT, had terrible editing errors but I couldn't put it down. I read through the whole night to finish it. It was like watching a train wreck!

I don't completely understand why everyone lusted after Alan (apparently there was a name change from the original.) He definitely had a the magic D or asshole or whatever. I pretty much couldn't stand any of the characters except maybe Ven a little bit. He a least seemed to honestly want to be with Alan, at least at the beginning, and then it was a free-for-all.

The plot twist at around 80% was definitely a shock and seemed very unnecessary, I guess, but ok, I rolled with it.

There was really very little plot and a lot of questions go unanswered but the ending was messed up on so many levels. I really didn't care for the way Alan threatened a guy for being concerned about his welfare. Of course, this just makes me want to read the next book even more, which shows what of person I am. LOL

Oh man...what did I just read. It was full of dirty, dirty goodness.

Alain must be magical or something! It seems everyone with a dick wants him...his brothers included.

Wanted more info about the infamous Carnalli gene and what happened to their father.

The whole Quentin situation kind of threw me for a loop. Not sure if it was necessary to go that far.

Will for sure read the next one...I think I'm addicted.

So I'm torn between "what the hell did i just read?" and "Holy shit that was hot!" I'm not gonna lie that I have a huge twincest kink and I'm not even a little bit ashamed about it, so this one really ticked all my boxes. The writing was a little all over the place at times tho and the whole thing with Quentin really seemed like unnecessary drama. Still I'll definitely read the next book if/when it gets released.
