A glossary follows the text, supporting reader learning and understanding. A strength of the series is the presentation of information in such a way as to capture the young reader’s interest.

Young readers investigate discoveries about Mars, learn about the discovery of frozen water on the planet, and explore the possibility of manned missions to the red planet. Topics in this book include the first people on Mars, missions to Mars, what can we see, living on Mars, Mars in history, on the surface, the moons of Mars, and much, much more.
