This book was given to me in sixth grade and I've cherished it ever since. Such a great story about a kid and his relationships. Kyle sees the world and how we learn about New York and the boroughs is through him. His journey and relationship with his parents, friends, his Uncle Hank, and the witches is eye opening.

Kyle's family is coming apart but for his Sunday's with his uncle, the taxi cab driver, life would be unbearable. The two of them make friends with a girl and her grandmother on roller skates. Life becomes even more interesting.
