Julie has loved rock climbing for as long as she can remember. What's more, she's good at it. Very good. So it only seems natural for her to do all she can to make a career out of it. But it's not easy. Not when there is so much resistance to women guides in the field ... and not when macho know-it-alls like David Hales keep showing up--and showing her up! Sure, David is internationally recognized. Sure, he's won competitions and awards. But that doesn't mean he's better than she is. All she has to do is convince her boss ... and herself. But what Julie doesn't know is that David isn't out to take her job. As a matter of fact, he's got something much different in mind ... something that has nothing to do with jobs or even rock climbing--and everything to do with love and faith in God.

I didn't think when I started this book, seeing that it was on rock climbing, that I would cry so much. But oh boy I did. Not in the sad way or really because of any event in the book, but because of the message in book. Do not conform. Don't try to fit into what you are "supposed" to be. Be yourself, and be happy with yourself. I needed it. The story was great, very exciting with a different setting. Wonderful characters. Loved it!

Ms. Rispin takes you on the struggles of love and Christianity experienced high in the mountains on rock cliffs and campouts. God is everywhere and she fluidlly moves the story of a several character's inner needs and outter challengens. I loved the purity of her writing.
