A Misstep in Time

Odd how one careless and unguarded moment can change a life or alter its direction. Take Jessica Tabor, a modern, self-made, “can do” woman living in her own tightly compartmentalized world, the author of her own tune. Then, in a flash of suspended animation, a half glance from the stoop of her warehouse stairs, the sight of two framed lovers entwined in a kiss catches her in mid-flight. The challenge from a discarded invitation suddenly frames the depth of her life’s emptiness. There in that moment of weakness, which will lead to another, then another, until the dissolution of her world seemed her only door to happiness. Yet, fate would send her another way, triggered by a suspended moment in time, where all is given and taken, that which matters is what lies between.
