Packed with even more all-new words and images than ever before, this fourth Ripley’s Believe It or Not! annual book is the biggest and best yet. It is full of incredible bizarre facts, stories, interviews, and features, all proudly displayed in a stunning bright new design.
I saw this book at Sam's Club and started reading bits of it (it's like an encyclopedia so I couldn't exactly read everything from the very beginning). I liked the fun, weird, and gross facts so much I begged my dad for almost 15 minutes if he could buy it for me. Of course, knowing my dad, he caved in after a while. I read every single fact in the book in the course of about three or four weeks.
I am unsure why my daughter loves these books.... she is obviously deeply disturbed!
She simply adores the weird and wonderful collections within... such as "the man who grew a cactus in his nose" or the even more bizzare "woman with gills"... I ask you... who could live without seeing such things?
To be honest, Ripley's Believe It or Not books are one of the few nonfiction books I actually like. Usually, nonfiction books just strike me as dull. But these books are definitely not dull! I love the interesting facts, even though it took me more than a day of steadfast reading to finish it. I bet readers of all kind would love this book, too!
This book is cool if you like wierd and tropical things. This book has the wourlds lagest pool people who have x-ray vision and some one who can disslocate all there bones.
