I struggled through 340 pages until I have to surrender and put the book down. It let my expectations down so much that I couldn`t get over my disappointment.I have read "Just One More Day" by the same writer and enjoyed it; it was quite good a book, actually; but now I felt like "Chasing Dreams" was written by another person. I kept reading only because of the good recommendations Lewis` fans were giving but obviously I`m not going to make it.
One of the best books that I have read lately! It is truly brilliant to me.I loved the characters, the storyline, the drama and yet not too dramatic to upset you.Easy reading, didn't feel bored even for a minute, actually I found myself waking up early than usual and reading at least 1 hour before to go to work.Really loved it!And I'm sooo in love with Michael. It took me 2 weeks to finish it just because I was quite busy the first week when I started, otherwise I would've read it probably for 3 days...That is my first book from Susan Lewis and I am on my way to the bookstore to byu more, because if this is her style,I definitely like it.
This is the first Susan Lewis book I've ever read. I read it for my HSC piece and it made Susan Lewis the best author in the whole world in my eyes. Since then I have been tracking all her books down even those from the 80s. I have most of them and have read most of them, all of them brilliant. Always the tragic love story, of love lost and found, with the mixture of tragedy, mystery, drama, suspense.
I think every genre you can think of is explored in her books, all her books! A complete page turner! You will not regret reading this book! Truly brilliant!
