OMG, IT HAPPENED AGAIN!!!! The secret of the cackle fur castle is all about: guess what LOVE!!!!! UGHHH. what a secret. I wish I had chosen another book. I hated this book because this was completely about love. I think this author is really into love stories. I also think he is out of ideas so he is just writing rubbish. If you are the author of this book and is currently reading my review I'm sorry to call your book rubbish but I have an advice for you: don't write love stories in the geronimo stilton series it makes the book bad. I rated it 2 stars because there were some funny parts and I like comedy.
also, can anybody suggest some good geronimo stilton books which you feel is similar to my taste

The secret of Cacklefur castle
By Geronimo Stilton

The secret of Cacklefur castle by Geronimo Stilton. Is a fictional adventure book in the perspective of it’s main character Geronimo Stilton. In this book he has been mouse-napped by his old friend Creepella, and is drug on another unwanted adventure to Cacklefur castle to meet the rest of his friends freaky family. At Cacklefur castle there are some strange things like inanimate objects being able to talk or in Geronimo’s eyes make fun of him.A thing in the moat with an upset tummy? “My fur stood on end. “Putrid cheese puffs!” I cried “It’s an earthquake!” Boneham the butler walked up to me. “It is not an earthquake, sir. it is The Thing. Boneham lead me to the window. He pointed to the green, slimy moat that surrounded the castle. “The Thing has a tummy ache.” He explained.” (Stilton 61)But will Geronimo ever make it back to New mouse City, or would he be eaten by the thing in the moat?

I think the author did a great job of coming up with a wild adventure that a practical and mild mannered mouse could take. You can learn a little from each of the books in this series like here you learn the power of friendship and Family. There is nothing more important than that.”Boris went on.“We all know the Cacklefur family secret,” he said. “We love one another. With love, we can do anything!” The mice nodded in agreement. “This little mouselet needs our love,” said Boris. “And we have plenty to give him.”(Silton 95)The Cacklefur know that with love that they can do anything and this true for anything and anyone.

I have to give this a book a 5 out of 5 stars. Why I rated this like I did is because it shows some very important lessons of love, family, and friendship. Even though this book is all fiction doesn’t mean that what it has to say and offer is not true in the real world.Because there are three important things that everyone knows and they are love, family, friendship. No one should ever forget them.

I like this book because it was funny and mysterious. We get an introduction to each and every character which I really liked. We also get to know each characters secret.
I like the pictures and the creepy outlines of the pages! I liked Creepella and her favorite niece Shivereen. The twins Snip & Snap were very funny and cute.

Fun hearing the details of Cacklefur Castle, but it's super weird that Geronimo does not want to go and Creepella doesn't let him go and doesn't listen to his asking to leave.

I'm enjoying this book because this book has mystery story. If I was him, I would have fainted. I understand why the Geronimo want to escape the castle because that castle was so scary and dark. However, I think Geronimo have a lot of fears. Because, he surprised at little things.

This was one of my FAVORITE Geronimo Stilton books!! I loved reading Geronimo Stilton when I was little and this one was one of my favorite!! :D I also think these Geronimo Stilton books are better than the Diary of the Wimpy kid, because I think the two authors kind of write the same but Geronimo Stilton is better! :P

I was excited for the new pretty purple girl but this story is written in third person view in contrast to the normal first person view from Geronimo and I like the latter style better. Anyways, it was still a fun read

The plot normalized Geronimo being kidnapped and having Creepella's unwanted affections forced on him. What the heck? That just isn't okay even with a gender reversal.....

A cute, sometimes creepy, book! I liked that so much happened in just one day, as it made for an entertaining read with very little boring moments.

A story of horror, friendship, and unrequited love!

After having having an existential crisis and almost giving up on his passion for writing forever, Geronimo is suddenly kidnapped (mousenapped) by his obsessive girlfriend who takes him to her far away castle to meet her family of deranged rats. After enduring hours of intense emotional turmoil through the constant pranks played by the spectres dwelling in the castle, Geronimo discovers an orphaned child on the drawbridge. The monstrous family decide to adopt it, and Geronimo realizes that even though these mice are absolutely insane and should not be trusted to raise a child, they can put their differences aside and become friends.

Also the library almost burns down and Geronimo pours a bowl of wasp stinger, scorpion tail, sock, jacket button soup on it and saves the day. Truly, a perfect ending.

ooo he gets “mousenapped” which means creepella grabs him, throws him into the front seat of her car, and drives off so he can meet her parents. (she has a crush on geronimo and wants to get married. WELL BOO-HOO to YOU BCUZ he and petunia are meant for each other. sorry not sorry.)

yeah her castle is on top of a hill in a shape of a skull-yayy!! omg, is this the vacay place i saw on TOK-TIK?! no. its her house. 😍

I love this book even though it is very subject to sarcasm and jokes but i love the formatting and weird fonts—plus the mouse puns omg i cannot 🤣 😭

if you read this when you were a kid, you had a good childhood.

Firstly in what world is kidnapping someone ok? They play it up for laughs here but I was getting annoyed by the halfway mark. Also creepella kept making moves on Geronimo when he was clearly uncomfortable.

At one point I got annoyed with Geronimo whining about wanting to go home. King, you have something called FREE WILL. You know how to get home???

The storyline was absurd because it concludes with a random mouse baby getting adopted like huh??? Wtv this book was nonsense.

The Secret of Cacklefur Castle by Geronimo Stilton, is about Geronimo's adventure trying to escape the castle and everyone who resides in it. He encounters various situations and people that are different from what he is used to in his day to day life. I enjoyed reading this book because the plot was entertaining and it contained a lot of fun fonts and illustrations that helped bring the words to life. I would have this book in my classroom library for students to check out and possibly for a center.

Creepella von Cacklefur leaves Geronimo no choice in joining her for a family weekend at her castle, since she mouse-naps him before he can say otherwise! Dami will have young readers chuckling with every chill running down their spines in this spooky entry to the "Geronimo Stilton" series. Time to meet the creepiest family this side of Mouse Island!
