I think I'm not the target audience for this book. As I've been the primary meal planner and cook in my home, I knew most of this stuff. The author discusses even the pots and pans to use, I skipped that part. The recipes are organize in an odd manner. The author gives you a week by week meal plan and immediately gives the recipes for that week. There is no index to look up the recipes and a monthly meal plan charts would've been really handy. I think anyone who finds himself/herself in charge of cooking/planning meals for the first time will appreciate this book more than I did.

Very good book. Her insights on health are awesome because of how much she cares personally. She recalls that the day nutritional fact tables became regulatory was one of the best days of her life. So that much!

Save your money and space on the bookshelf. The menus in this book are poor and the recipes don't excite me.

Had great ideas. I haven't tried any of the recipes but I liked the way she made meal planning funny.
