I got this book as arc for an honest review.
First and foremost I’ve never read this author before and now I plan to read every book she’s written. This book checked so many boxes for me. It is the first book I’ve read in a long time that had me so invested I actually felt what the main character Kaydence was going through as she went through it. It was a heady feeling to be so in tune with the storyline that I felt like I was there. It is a well written stalker situation.
The characters are well written and the plot is interesting and fun with a side story that also makes Reed’s job real in a different way. I was so focused on every little detail.
I love how it’s told from both perspectives so you know how both characters feel. This is the second book in a series and can be read as a standalone which is how I read it. I will be going back to read the first book too.
I can’t really say much else without giving the plot away some way, but I know I will be rereading it to come back to their story.

Let me just say that I couldn't stop reading! I love me some stalker who in the end helped connect two people and... another thing at the end... like what was that? I did not expect that at all! I loved all of the spicy scenes in it and that ending! *Chefs Kiss* I am so happy that I read this book and it was everything that I wanted it to be.
The emotions that I felt while reading this was perfect. It made me feel like I was in tuned with the story. I couldn't stop reading and wanted it to be done to know what really happens but then I also never wanted the book to end! Make sure to check the triggers before reading.
If you love enemies to lovers, Kink/ BDSM, Spicyness!!! and just an overall amazing book this one is for you!

Firstly I had not read anything by this Author before I signed up to be an ARC reader.
This book I absolutely loved!! The spice was great, if your into BDSM kink.
I loved the characters Kaydence (Katy) & Reed, they both have past relationships which ended up affecting their current lives. With both of them swearing off relationships to protect themselves, until they meet each other.
Reed is an ex-military who co-owns a security firm, had not been in a relationship for 17yrs, he has his pets that keep him sexually occupied at a BDSM club that he frequents & that's the way he likes it. He's also quite cocky, sweet & persistent.
Katy is sweet, strong, blunt & tends to just say what's on her mind, often has anxiety because of her past, she had not dated for 5yrs and when she finally does he ends up being a psycho and then starts stalking her. Throughout the story you could tell she was keeping secrets but she 100% had her reasons.
They both meet when Katy seeks help from Reeds security company, to help protect her from her ex-stalker. Straight from the get go there was an immediate attraction to one another. They tried to fight it throughout the story and even thought having one night together would get it out of their systems, they were wrong. I loved how Reed bared his heart to her first, I didn't expect that but it showed a side to him I really liked & how he was in it for the long hall accepting everything that comes with Katy.
“No problem, princess. You’re mine now. And I always protect what’s mine.”
“I’m a hundred percent positive, baby. You’re it for me. The only way I’ll ever leave you is in a body bag.”
The ending was just wow 😮 I did not see that coming with the twists & how the story unfolded. It did however answer a lot of questions with Kaydence's past. I was emotional in the end 🥺 the plot was everything!!

The title is apt! Two broken, and hurt people coming together and clashing to create sizzling chemistry. The sex scenes were freaking hot, kinky and sure did turn the air warmer in this cold. I liked the on going suspense even though the climax seemed rushed in my opinion. Reed did change for Kaydence, finally giving her man she's been waiting for all her life.

This book starts with you meeting Kaydence looking for protection and help getting her evidence of the man stalking her for a restraining order. She is a feisty young woman who has no time for men and just wants her life back, so when she first meets Reed she lets him know she's not interested in hookups only his expertise in computer hacking. This girl has had some serious abandonment issues from her past that has shaped her into someone who walls herself off to men for the last 5 years. She decided to take a chance and it backfires on her leading to her now having a psychotic stalker lurking about.
Reed is an older man who has his own issues with commitment from his past as well. He likes to frequent a club that guarantees he gets to indulge in a little Master/pet action. He's not looking for more than a one night to scratch an itch type of fling and definitely not a relationship. Unfortunately for Reed he has never had a woman not take him up on his advances like Kaydance has now. He might be considered the computer geek of the security company he works for, but he's a man that doesn't seem to fit your typical hacker profile, which his domineering personality and sculpted body. He finds himself drawn to Kaydence from the start and the more time they are forced together he wants way more than just a taste this time.
These two have explosive chemistry once they get together, but before it happens they have a lot banter that sets up some extremely spicy moments to come. These two have pasts that haunt them and makes each one a little skittish for more.

Once again another book by this author that I am in LOVE with. So far everything I have read from her I have loved the story and the characters.

Reed has sworn off love and relationships. After being with someone who he thought was the love of his life and after one phone call his whole world flipped upside down. He swore he wasn't doing relationships anymore, just hookups. Until she stumbled into his company and needed help.
Kaydence has moved and changed her name because she is running away from her past. She is just trying to live her and move on from her past but, she keeps feeling as she is being watched. She has sworn off men all together. When she ends up going to Reed's company to get help, she doesn't expect Reed.
I loved how feisty Kaydence was and the push and pull between these characters. I loved when Reed was completely speechless and confused on why she wasn't falling all over him like all the other women. Reed needed to know why she was so different from other women. I loved how they were trying to deny their feelings but they just couldn't get each other out of their heads.
I loved how Reed was there for Kaydence. He made it his mission to be there no matter what the situation was. In the certain situations in this book it made my heart melt how protective he was over her.

I received this book as an ARC and it was my first book by this author.
I was not impressed, this book could have easily been a 4 star just with the storyline alone but the characters and writing style are what bother me. I feel like this author has so much potential.
This book comes with a multitude of trigger warnings, stalking, kidnapping, murder in front of a child, humiliation and bsdm to name some. The story opens with a flash back to Reeds previous relationship that ended up ruining him for women. At first I thought I could like Reed but he was arrogant and not in a sexy way more in a arrogant way of someone who won’t leave you alone and act as though they are a gift bestowed upon you. He later meets Kaydence who needs his security firms help with her ex who’s stalking her. Kaydences character is okay she’s a little cringey in the way she reacts to Reed and it just seems like a bad high school sit one flirting style between the two. Secrets unfold and there is a major plot twist that comes out near the end when the kidnapping takes place.
Again the story had really really good potential I just think the characters needed a little more development.
As for spicy it’s there and in full force but because of the way the characters were written it seems like it’d be the dialogue in a cheap porno. The intent in there is just not followed through well.

E.R. Hendricks always amazes me with each new release she give us. I am all here for it.
For Change For Me I must warn you to please check those triggers before reading. This book may not be for everyone.(Me, YES, gimme)!
Our author has a mind that gives us plot spice and not everything so nice! which is a very great thing in my world! Our MFC and MMC in this book are both very guarded characters. They have had some trauma in the past that has given them a perspective of not wanting to get attached. That is until they meet each other, although, in the beginning they deny their feelings they can not help the fire that is burning. And the spice in this book is fire especially if u have the kink of bdsm and degrading/humiliation.
we have a stalker ex for our MFC and a secret she is holding on to.
There are so many shocking twist in this book that it brings on the emotions of a roller coaster full force.
I don't want to give much of the book because you must read it for yourself. I will say that this is one author you DO NOT want to skip out on. Her writing style is so free flowing and brilliant. I absolutely love what she does. NOW GO BUY/DOWNLAOD IT NOW !! LOL seriously!

Smut 5 stars/Plot 3 stars
I feel like I have to review this book in two parts. On the one hand, the steamy parts are excellent. There are all sorts of yummy kinky things the MCs get up to. They are the perfect length and very satisfying. On the other hand, the plot was pretty disjointed. It seemed like the author started writing with an ending in mind and at some point came up with a different ending but never went back and adjusted what they already wrote for the new ending. Because of this the last 25% of the book just seemed ridiculous instead of the plot twist that was intended. It also felt rushed. If this was intended to just be a smut read it wouldn’t have been worth mentioning but since this was presented as a spicy romance it was disappointing and distracting. I gave the book 4 stars because the spicy stuff was that good. Would love to read a more cohesive story from this author in the future that weaves the smut into the plot more fluidly. Alternatively if this author wrote a straight smut story I would jump on that as well.

Let me just start off by saying OMG!!! I loved this book I could not put it down!!! This is my first book by this author and oh my am I going to read more!!!
We follow Reed (ex military) as he and his team are approached by a woman (Kaydence) scared for her life but she does not seem to be to scared at first until reed and his team do some digging and find out what’s going on with kaydence and why she wants to be protected.. surprise she has a stalker. What does this mean for her? How are they going to stop it? Do they stop it?
Omg! The spicy scenes!!! Yes! I’m living for this book! And that plot twist!?!? Omg!!! I just can’t stop thinking of this books it’s one of the best I’ve read in a while! And I would highly recommend this book! This book gave me all the feels!! I cried at some parts but worth it!! And the ending!!!!🥰🥰

Oh wow. This book had plenty of steam, Suspense and drama. Great story plot.
I loved getting to know the characters. They were relatable and humorous at time.
Reed was an ex Veteran who has a security firm with his Vet brothers. He was very confident and c##ky and I loved it. He was hurt badly by his ex and has vowed to never give another woman his heart again. So he loves playing away. Reed is a Dom and is happy with his pets and BDSM club. That was until he met Katy.
Kaydence (Aka Katy) was hurt by her past relationships too. She has built a tall wall over her heart and hasn't dated for 5 years. When she finally does date, he ends up being a psycho. He is her ex but she finds herself with a crazy stalker now.
She is totally swearing off men until she meets Reed.
She asks Reed's security company for help. They have an instant attraction, which they try to fight this fire between them.
Katy is very fierce and so strong but with Reeds unusual affection, it's getting hard for her.
There was a few omg moment as I was not expecting any of that.
Can they find the stalker? Why is he so obsessed?
What secrets is Katy hiding?
Can they both change for the other?

First off let me start off by saying that this is my first book I have ever had the pleasure to arc read, and the first book I’ve read from this author. I am so happy that I have found a new author to read. The spice level in this book is 🤌🏼 (chefs kiss) and I love the plot. It’s a great stalker situational book with twists and turns that keep you reeling through the end. I couldn’t put this book down. The ending was so amazing. I can’t wait for others to read this book, and even though it works as a standalone, the first book in the same world is, in too deep. I absolutely loved reed and his persistence through the whole book, and a good strong female character is always a plus. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

First up, this book started with a trigger warning page and that gives me life. If you don't need a tw page, skip it! But some of us need it to ensure a safe reading experience! And we Stan books that come prepared for our safety.
Second up, There's a lot of plot with this. From a stalker ex to Kadence keeping secrets to Reeds past dictating how he lives his life. It's all there and it's all good.
Third, there is copious amounts of spice. From masturbation to delicious bdsm so charge your husbands, charge your wives, charge your toys!
It's delicious.
This is a high 3 star rating and this book is Defo worth the read!

Wow!!
I have yet to be disappointed by the range this author posses and I doubt I ever will be.
In some ways this is a dual second chance romance for both character and it fit so perfectly
You get to see the scars that get left behind by different situations and you get to see the healing too
With great plot - on point spice - and enough twists to keep you tangled up in this … the story grips you and doesn’t let up.

Idk where to even start. It's a forced proximity. Bd$m which means spicy. Each have sad pasts. They're sarcastic that causes banter between the two MCs. I pieced together stuff as it was happening and always thought there was something more to the MFC story. Turns out the twists and turns with that are sometimes heart breaking. That part is just so damn sad! I cried. I laughed. It was such a great read! Loved it!

When two broken people come together, it’s always an interesting story. Both main characters had trust issues, caused by painful relationship outcomes. Reed just wanted to f**k while Kaydence gave up on men and was content with her toys. The more Kaydence denied him, the more he pushed harder. When they finally came together it was 🔥🔥.
I absolutely recommend this book. If you enjoy main characters with strong personalities and "touch her and I’ll kill you" vibes- this book is for you!

ER Hendricks has done it again. This book is a Enemies to Lovers, BDSM, MF standalone. This book also contains characters from In Too Deep. Change For Me sucked me right into the story from the beginning. Check Trigger Warnings before reading as this book contains some Dark themes. This book had me gripping my kindle. This story had so much spice, kinks, and more. I loved this book and can't wait to see what else ER comes up with next!

Wow what amazing book. This is a first read for this author and I will be reading more. The story has feelings that can feel the emotions. This story tells both side so know what each character is feeling. Their is kink in this spicy read. This is the second in the series so I will be reading the first book so can pull the story together.

I absolutely love myself a almost not redeemable possessive asshole and hendricks brings it!
Reed started out a love struck man to become broken and hardened by a woman. He makes you want to slap him a time or two while also doing some other blowing his mind 😉 but he definitely shows his true colors and brings himself back when you hope for it.
Kaydence was dealing with a crazy man and fed up with jt. She does something that puts her in the sights of reed and it is fabulous.
It is flipping hot and damn the surprises you get with their interactions is unbelievable! When the spicy scenes hit you are in for a treat!! I really love hendricks books and will forever love her daddy k!nks!!

This is a beautiful story filled with so much emotion. There is suspense and drama in this forces proximity romance. Reed and Katy have amazing banter between them, along with so much chemistry and heat. Both are strong characters that are relatable. This had me guessing at time, and laughing at other moments. It is filled with heat and chemistry. I can't wait to read more by E.R. Hendricks.

From the beginning the characters grabbed me. I was hungry to get more information and couldn't put it down. It is full of spice (especially the kinky stuff) and had me laughing and loving this book the entire way! It was my first read by this author and I can't wait to devour more of her books!! Definitely NEED to read!

This is the second book in the series (however it can in fact be read as a standalone) I have not read the first book, wasn’t ever confused but I definitely will be giving the other book a read. Kaydence is the main character in this book. This is a really well written book, I do recommend giving it a read if your debating on reading it.

3.5 🌟 from me, mostly spice driven. For me this book needed to be just a bit longer to flesh out the in-between...from 0-100 doesn't flow organically for me, unless I know I'm reading an intense insta OTT.
That being said, I enjoyed the background plot twists, some I never saw coming. Don't disregard this one if you like some intense heat that hits with the flip of a switch.

Such a good read! Not really what I was expecting but it had some really good twists and turns that I really didn’t see coming at all! Reed is well Reed is just wow. I love how strong and independent Kaydence was. It’s nice to see a strong FMC.

This book was so freaking adorable! I love the tension between the two main characters, and I love that they had relatable past relationship trauma… It was suspenseful and spicy, and I loved it! I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Wow I was hooked from the beginning. I loved this book. The characters were amazing and the bdsm in this was right up my alley. Will have to find more to read by this author.

Amazing book! Expertly written with perfect character relationships. It was steamy and absolutely hot! The twist I did not see coming and it surprised the hell out of me!! Haha definitely recommend.
