Not surprisingly the mysterious helper among the Druufs is our old friend Ernst Ellert. Part of him gets back to his old body that rests in a special Mausoleum on Terra. Rhodan goes back to talk to him.
And then things go more or less as planned. They together are stealing the technology of the Druufs and they continue the plot against both Druufs and Arkon.
One thing one has to say, is that Darlton is able to keep one interested.
In edition we get the second part of the romance story between Perry and Thora. It it quite terrible. And they needed to hire a second writer to polish up the Darlton story. How bad must that have been? Or was it better and has been made bad by the second writer? We will never know.
And then things go more or less as planned. They together are stealing the technology of the Druufs and they continue the plot against both Druufs and Arkon.

No entanto, a corrida desenfreada através das dimensões lhe veio mostrar o engano...
Para conseguir chegar ao planeta da imortalidade, dentro do prazo certo, era-lhe necessário passar pelo semi-espaço, ou espaço intermediário, pela região incerta e instável entre a quarta e a quinta dimensão. Mas, no semi-espaço, a morte espreitava...
