Thought-provoking essays that responded to the question of what are the twenty-first century's most important spiritual issues. Chittister seems to have cultivated a set of very interested followers, some of whom seem to have really gotten into the "spiritual" angle of question with others seeming to have leaned more heavily into the social gospel direction.

This was a book we read in our small church group. It's a wonderful compilation of spiritual writers, each echoing the interests of Joan Chittister. It was challenging and thought provoking and stimulated good discussion.
