I've had this book for a few years and have been waiting for the right time to use it. Since it has forty-two days of readings, it's a perfect fit a Lenten practice. Looking forward to spending daily time in the Gospel of John, which may be my favorite.
Update, 9.30.24:
Well, I obviously didn't finish this during Lent last year...
Even though it took me over a year to wend my way through this brief devotional, I'm glad I stuck with it. As I previously mentioned, John may be my favorite book in the Gospels, and as with the reading of any Scripture, I never come away from it unchanged.
I really liked the set up for this devotional, which follows the lectio divina structure: a portion of Scripture, a meditation, and a prayer. When space allowed, lines for journaling/note-taking were provided.
I recommend this book for anyone who wants to delve deeper into the Gospel of John, especially in a prayerful, meditative way.
