This is the first in a series. As Dane Fortune is a hit man, and Skye Ransom is the daughter of his latest targets. He was supposed to have killed her, too, so needless to say she doesn't trust him when they find themselves traveling through time together. Yet...those eyes...
Michelle is a great writer, just starting out and I'm grateful to have proofed the first version of this book. It has "grown up" so-to-speak, and is even more engaging now. I highly recommend the work of this new author. And her sequel, A Break in Time, has just been released. If you happen to be in Hearst, TX tomorrow, drop by and say hello to her. This is a very different book. The author keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time with all the twists. The hero isn't what you'd expect. Just when you think nothing more can happen to them, something bad comes along. The book ended too soon. I wanted to see where Dane and Skye's time machine took them next. I'll have to read the next book for that.
