LA GRAVITE

Rate this book
Birth is not so much a beginning
as it is an abrupt change in which suddenly
there are different factors than those in the womb,
and there is gravity.

lovely and spare prose. I love how he talks about the body and space and gravity.

Subtle way of reading the body and the movement. A poetic perspective that invites to pay attention to the small.

Being a fan of dancing and martial arts I find this piece of text interesting. Seems like a blog though written in the form of book.

Steve, you rambling genius. I think I would have to read and dance each page 100 times to achieve half of this wisdom. highly recommend

Steve Paxton kuoli tämän vuoden alussa. Kirja oli minulle tapa kohdata hänet. Pieniä katkelmia ja ajatuksia tanssista sekä maailmassa olemista, sievä kirjanen.
