Viktor Moiseevich Vazhdaev (Russian: Виктор Моисеевич Важдаев) was a Russian Soviet writer, children's storyteller and ethnographer. The third son of the philosopher and teacher MM Rubinstein. In his youth, collecting the folklore of the peoples of the USSR, he traveled a lot around the country, in particular, on behalf of A.M. Gorky, he made a trip to Kazakhstan.
He was a famous collector of paper money (bonist). Buried at the Vvedenskoye cemetery in Moscow.
