The Objective of this work is to investigate the unsteady stokes flow of viscous fluid, the behavior of the steady and unsteady flows in the presence of Magnetic forces and the flow of second grade fluid between parallel porous plates using analytical and numerical techniques. The flow is assumed to be laminar, incompressible and viscous. The Navier-Stokes equations are assumed for the viscous flow, the second grade fluid flow problems for both steady and unsteady cases. Exact solutions have been found out for some flow problems. Approximate analytical solution has been obtained using perturbation technique and the numerical solution is being discussed. The Runge Kutta Gill's method is applied for finding out the numerical solutions.
Ganesh is an engineer from IIT Delhi. He has had an interest in space science ever since he was in school. After completing his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, he spent most of his professional life in a multinational organization in the field of technology.
About eight years ago, Ganesh developed an interest in the Puranas. He was fascinated by the insights the ancient text offered, particularly the parallels to space science. He has researched most of the Mahapuranas, besides other texts, in preparation for writing this book.
Ganesh currently lives in Singapore with his wife and daughter.
