A concise read.
I plan to give this one a try.
Dreading the first 3 days. A whole day of apples sounds like hell.

I tried this plan over 10 years ago. Although first 2-3 days can be tough going, the rest is not difficult. Even before the end of 10 days the results start speaking for themselves. Glowing skin, flat stomach, lose at least 3kg (not fluid, the proper kind), clearer thinking and eyesight (strange but true) and more energy.

I've never forgotten how good I felt after that period and now after all these years have tracked the book down to try it again this week. Middle age, bad eating habits and lack of exercise has really taken its toll on my waist (and weight). Am looking forward to the results.

This book is a short, but concise guide to doing a basic 10 day cleanse. It emphasizes raw foods and a vegetarian diet and provides advice on how one might continue healthy eating after the 10 days. There is no fasting involved and, for the most part, the advice is common sense. I was unfamiliar with body-brushing before reading this book and it gives a good overview of the practice. There are a few recipes scattered throughout (The avocado dip is definitely a keeper).
