At first I wasn't certain if I would stick with this book. I glad I did though. I think the issue was that I had just finished a Christian romance novel and this book just wasn't quite the same. There were points in it's favour though. felt it was good that you didn't get a lovemaking description in the book, as with a M&B I often skip those. I like books set in a community so will look out for the rest of the series. There may be recurring characters.

More suspense than romance, or maybe more of a 50-50 mix, which is not expected from a Superromance. The cover copy has a good summary. The heroine has a violent past of her own, growing up in the family she had, so it makes the hero extra scary. Scuba diving plays a fairly big part in the story, bringing the hero and heroine together at work and play. Good read.
