A fantastic read of San Diego sports history and the author's fascinating family.

From Jane's family to Ted Williams to Junior Seau to Dave Roberts, this book is a terrific collection of stories and adventures spanning years of sports and experiences for all ages, sports fans, and world adventurers. Jane Mitchell's ability to connect with people and tell their (and her own) stories is unparalleled.

Our family has admired Jane for years for her in-depth, interesting, and kind interviews. Our daughter grew up following Jane's hard work and success in a traditionally male profession. We loved Jane's show One on One and enjoy replays when they're on.
