Like many authors, I spent much of my childhood days dreaming about being somewhere other than school. I'm happy to report my teachers were wrong when they said no one ever got anywhere daydreaming all day. I have a far more active blog at: http://www.nicoleash.com/blog

So, I liked this, but somethings I didn't understand. I don't understand why, once they found out that he could listen in on their mental conversations, why they continued to talk about killing him/escaping? I understand why when they thought he couldn't hear them, but once they found out he was....yeah. Not smart. I also didn't understand why their people only sent one person (saytr?) to collect all of the animals. I feel like that was a big job for one dude, but whatever. I like the twist on the satyr being the hero, that's a new one for me. I would read it again as a light, in between books.
