A very readable book describing how children who have died communicate with us in spirit. It may seem like a daunting read, but it is quite warm and approachable, even for those who feel that this type of experience is not possible. Ms Rand appears to be a very talented and warm hearted individual who makes the topic of death and the afterlife really acceptable, interesting and curious. I recommend it to all who wonder about this topic, and even those who are very experienced with it.

Interesting book by a medium

Great stories of contact with people in spirit with a focus on kids. Having recently lost two loved ones, I can relate to the experiences and feelings in this book. There are also some great meditative exercises in the appendix.

Affirming

Interesting and affirming stories that bring a sense of peace to the concerns/fears surrounding death and to the feelings of support from loved ones that have died.

The book is about children who have died and come back to speak through the medium, Hollister Rand. It covers all types of deaths from in utero to teenagers, from abortions to overdose. The theme of the book is healing after a death especially one of a child. it is sensitive, blunt and encompassing. there is something for everyone and everyone can relate to the stories, the feelings and the emotions of both the living who are left behind the dead that are trying to comfort the living.
I definitely recommend this book especially if you have lost a loved one or are interested in exploring death and the "after life" further.

There's not much new here except the emphasis on children who have crossed over and desire to communicate with loved ones still here. A few other details are interesting, but overall the book includes pretty run-of-the-mill mediumship stories. Perhaps this is a good introductory book for those not comfortable with the concept of contact with the "dead."

I enjoyed this book - good insights from a medium who works with more spirits of children. I tend to be a believer, so while I didn't buy into everything, I found it a comforting and relaxing book of its sort.

This book greatly helped me maintain some level of clarity with my beliefs as I moved through the very complicated and devastating loss of a precious child in my life. I keep it close and refer to it from time to time.

Worth a read especially if you've lost a child

I'm still a skeptic but it was a comforting way of thinking about death. Even if it isn't true, I'm grateful to the author for sharing and for giving me something to hold onto.

Excellent book. As the title says, dead people are not totally dead. They still live but are different.... I was scared of ghosts, but now I want to see them....
