Dee is a best-selling, award winning author of erotic romances in the urban fantasy, paranormal and contemporary genres. She also writes erotica under the pen name, Morgan Sierra.
Dee began writing short stories in middle school, but did not attempt completion of a novel until almost ten years later—which despite good intentions was never finished. Almost ten additional years later, she challenged herself to begin writing again, and the love for storytelling was rekindled.
Dee lives in Florida with her two dogs. When not writing, she is usually curled up on the couch with a good book!
Ms. Carney’s Interdependence began great. I was hooked, perched at the edge of my seat, could not wait to turn to the next page. But somewhere in the middle it sort of fell flat. I felt that the author took a safe non-controversial path instead of giving us a stronger heroine. Overall, the story was intriguing in parts, but I was left disappointed with its direction in the end.
I liked the story. I liked most of how it was told. Just after the halfway point, though, it started feeling forced. I can't pinpoint exactly why it felt that way, so maybe it was just me. The ending was what I expected but between the first time all three of them were together and the end it seemed like something in the story was off. Still, it was a good read.
This was the first of Dee's works that I read and my first menage. The writing is spectacular and the story is wonderful. I was drawn in and read the whole thing in one night. A must read.
