Love conquers all, that is the point but can it bridge the differences between a vampire and a woman?
Hugh is twenty eight. He has been twenty eight for nearly one hundred years. Hugh is a vampire. He owns a club called The Point and he pays girls to have sex with him. He then counts to ten as he sucks their blood to semi-satisfy his lust.
Elizabeth is a doctor, she loves her job but likes to escape into the countryside now and then. When she twists her ankle Hugh comes to her aid. He carries her curvy form all the way back to his home. He takes care of her ankle and the rest of her body too but he goes too far and sucks her perfectly intoxicating blood.
How can these two lovers have any kind of relationship? They don’t know, only time will reveal the answers.
This just was not for me. DNF at 25%. There is sex that is not particularly erotic, and I don't care what will happen to the characters (no chemistry).
I don't read a lot of Paranormal books but I am a sucker for a polite, gentlemanly Vampire (pun totally intended!)
Having been 28 for nearly 120 years Hugh has tamed his Vampiric lust for human blood. He has a club, The Point, where humans and vamps have a sweet deal going on.
Elizabeth stumbles into Hugh's life and his control is thrown out the window.
Looking forward to reading the others in this series.

This book was a tad bit disappointing. It lacked humor, lust, and just all around entertainment. I can’t give it more than two divas because that’d be misleading. Reviewed by M.N. Mori

Victoria Blisse's The Point left me with some mixed feelings. On one hand, I loved Hugh. For a short story, his character was surprisingly well developed. I loved learning about is progression over the years, from the moment he was changed to meeting Elizabeth. On the other hand, I felt very little connection to Elizabeth. I think if The Point was longer, not necessarily a full length book, and her character was developed a bit more, I would have liked her. Overall, I enjoyed The Point. I liked the darkness and grittiness of the story. It was sexy enough to hook my attention and leave me wanting to pick up the next book in the series.
The Point by Victoria Blisse Well we first met Hugh in Literally Bitten but we didn’t learn much about him. Victoria gives us a glimpse of his life in The Point. Hugh is a lonely vampire who wishes he had someone to share his long life with. We discover how he was turned so many years ago and how he lost the love of his life. It is kind of sad to think you will be alone forever or will he? This was a good short story by Victoria. I like how she portrayed Hugh’s character as a sweet old fashion gentleman. “I received this book as a review copy in return for an honest review”
This is a great short read. Updated and fleshed out (insert groan). I love vampires, especially when they are of the polite, well-dressed, gentleman variety. Hugh fits perfectly into my vision and I loved the way this side of him gelled with the seductive, sexy side of his personality. Elizabeth is a sweet, shy lady that you instantly like. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more of this series.
