A great informational book. Was very fun to read, and it kept me interested. Each page is a new topic, and the layout and organization make it easy to read. Most of the book is pretty simple to understand without prior knowledge, but I did have some difficulty with the physics part ( I am a high schooler and haven't taken physics yet).

I really enjoyed that I could just pick it up and read just a page or two if I had just 5 minutes or so, but the topics did not feel disconnected from itself.

The chapters in the book are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Medicine, Geology & Ecology, Technology. Each topic is presented summarily on a page, which means it is a great way to understand the basics on a particular topic and, furthermore, it is a very good reference book.

I can’t give this book a rating. Very good introductions to all aspects of modern science, but, it was exactly that: 1 page introductions that just felt at times like it was “throw a bunch of words on the page”. I know that this was the point of the book, 1 page introductions to different topics, but I wonder if, by sticking to that model, it lost some of its worth and usefulness. So, no rating because it did exactly what was written on the cover, but I’m not sure it was worthwhile. Near the end, I started skimming instead of reading and I don’t think I missed much.
