I live in Guernsey and actually owned a bookshop when Ron turned up and asked me if I wanted to stock this book. I'm glad I did.
Set in Guernsey in the 1960s, London gangsters thought they could raid Guernsey and gain a fortune. They bit of more than they could chew and there is a really good twist to the story's end.
I know that the author tried to get to get this made into a film but I don't think it came about. Pity.
