When Miley is invited to a sneak preview of a hot new movie, she’s sure that her dad won’t mind a bit. He can’t say no, right? Wrong! It’s exam time, and Miley’s dad wants her to stay home and study! But how can Miley resist free popcorn and movie stars?
One of the novels that has been the most influential on me as a reader was R. A. Salvatore's adaptation of Attack of the Clones. Sure, I had read books based on movies and television shows prior to that, but the literary version of that middle Star Wars prequel had quite a bit of bonus content, and much better writing than some heavily illustrated easy reader. Around that time was when I discovered Lizzie McGuire and the other various shows on the Disney Channel, which have a continued impact on me to this day.
So, despite the low reading level, I've always had a special affinity for tie-in books based on my favorite shows and movies. Sure, they can get it wrong at times--the novelization of Jingle All the Way was an epic fail!--but, for the most part, they're fun reads...and this one was no exception. It could have used more detail, but, that's a minor complaint.
Book #3 in the Hannah Montana adapted novels series, and another two episodes of the series are featured here, a series I haven't really watched before (enough to know it is that type of excruciating Disney humour. This is also the third of the four book box set that I had. The book is silly, as the other ones were, but it seems to be better than the original source material, ala the TV show, but being what base line that is, doesn't mean it is high quality!
It was vary good, and I could totally compare the book with the episode. I give it 56 stars because, i have see the episode, and i have laughed a little bit. I can recommend it to other people between 10 to 13-14 years, but if you are a big Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus fan can you also read the book if you are 17 years old. But I still thinka that the book was very good. I read it on 2-3 days. Very fast compared to what else I wont.
Part one of this book is all about how Miley sneaks out to a movie premiere with her BFFs . She soon discovers that her dad was dating Ms.Diamond , an estate manager, and gets upset. She tries to find out more about her.........
Part two of this book is all about Miley having a crush on a ninth grader , Josh Woods. She soon discover that he is not a fan of Hannah Montana, The other half of her.She tries her best to make Josh like Hannah but she 'Blew it'.
I liked this book and particular i liked these 2 episodes. I liked it when hannah learned that Nobody could replace her mother and in the second part I liked it when jackson was trying to go out with olivia. I gave it five stars. Does anybody know what happened to her mother on the show? I know she died but what from?
miley and her freinds want to see the Ashton Kutcher's movie premiere and sneak out of the house to see it things start going well until mileys father turns up with a date.
I've been a fan of Miley Cyrus ever since she started releasing music under her own name. I always wanted to watch Hannah Montana but we didn't have the Disney Channel and so I never got to watch it, and as I make my way through these books, I'm kind of glad I never did.
For starters, there are two stories which were originally episodes, inside this book and there's no correlation or continuity between the two, which is annoying as they're in the same book and are considered as part one and part two - so why aren't they connected?
I liked the start of the first story and both Miley and brother, Jackson, sneaking off to the movie theatre, but I kind of wished they'd kept going down the movie theatre scene rather than jumping back home and them trying to find out more about this woman that Mr Stewart is with because it leads down a chaotic route that is so bizarre and difficult to like.
Then it zooms into the second part with no continuity and I just want to know more about this woman and what happens next between her and Mr Stewart. Instead, we follow Miley and her love life, going on a date to a Hannah Montana show, which doesn't go exactly to plan because she's Hannah Montana too.
The writing style isn't too bad, but the stories themselves are. I doubt I'm ever going to actually like a Hannah Montana book, and I am certainly going to steer clear of the TV series, for sure. I did like the movie though!
On the first part Mickey and Jackson sneak out to the movies but find their date there on a date. In the second part Miley goes on a date with a boy who doesn’t like Hannah Montana.
In Part one, Miley and Lilly are gaga for Ashton Kutcher, who may show show up at a viewing of his new movie. I never really got into the whole Kutcher craze. 'That 70s Show' was somewhat funny, though.
On page 56, a song is being sung without mentioning the lyrics. If I had never seen the show, or this particular episode, how would I know that the song Miley was singing a few lines of was 'I Miss You?" For all I'd know, the character is singing, "I'm singing a song. Oh, yes. I'm singing a song. It isn't very long. Does this even belong in this moment?" All it says is that Miley started to sing the song she had written after her mother passed away, and then her father commented that it was a beautiful song. I understand copyright issues, but I've always wondered about it when the same company that owns the copyright has written the book. 🤔
I read this for nostalgia reasons. Basically, this is a very short written version of a few episodes; not one episode but multiple, so it’s a tad rushed since you just zoom through it. You’d probably have more fun rewatching the actual show, and cringing at it because it was kind of bad.
