I know, I know. I'm such an easy mark. I love original '95 Judge Dredd movie, don't ask me why, I just do. So when I saw this novelisation at my local bookshop I had no choice but to grab it. The book itself is written to a decent standard. Nothing special, I probably could've done just as good of a job if asked. With that said it was interesting to divorce the story from the visuals of film and honestly it was kinda drab. The technicolor mayhem of the film alongside some of the best comic book set design really goes a long way to aid a fairly benign script/story.

I loved it when I was 14! But when I reread it, I realized it is the next to worst book I've ever read.
