I read poetry and generally keep a book with me for times I am standing in line.

This book has poems by Elizabeth Barret Browning
Alfred Lord Tennyson and Robert Browning.

My favorite poem in this book was one of Robert Browning's - Prophyria's Lover. A rather dark poem that deals with the murder of a woman by her lover where Browning dwells on the erotic aspects of the wonam's murder and her dead body. This was the first time I read the poem and had to read it several times before I was better able to understand that Browning was not romanticizing love, but emphasising the ego of the man and his jealousy and posessiveness.
